An 8 legged walk on Saturday in Hastings Country Park. Everything wants to grow, twist, jump, fly, buzz, seed, smell and generally show off any way it can. Things change every hour in a way that is new and exciting and simultaneously inevitable and predictable and beautifully reassuring. The thimbleweed has been joined by wild garlic, celandine, wild violets and the hawthorn is starting to blossom. The bluebells are waiting in the wings so so nearly ready and there are some very fat bumblebees about, not bumbling at all but moving with great energy and purpose.
My border collie cross managed not to chase the sheep pictured, she had a stick to chase.
Sorry about the thumb!
